We are looking for a proven high-energy Inside Account Manager to help accelerate our growth in target verticals. Account managers work on behalf of the Vice President and work closely with the SFL Scientific marketing and consulting teams. The Account Manager will develop new relationships in emerging lines-of-business and leverage their sphere of influence, contacts, and resources in the industry to open up new accounts as well as execute against a targeted business development plan to consistently deliver on revenue targets. Account managers also drive new projects and initiatives within data engineering, AI/ML, and novel tool development. The ideal candidate will possess sales and technical capabilities to enable them to successfully advise customers on data science solutions, grow consulting relationships, and maintain relationships within specific business units. The Account Manager should be an exceptionally strong creative thinker who is quick on their feet, one that thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments. They should have strong phone, online communication, and presentation skills.
Requirements, Education, & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a strong academic track record (Business/STEM preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a successful sales professional in technology services, consulting, or software solution market with experience targeting enterprise accounts.
Experience working with industry partners in joint go to market activities.
Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets, this position carries a revenue target as an individual contributor.
Ability to work in a team environment targeting specific industry verticals.
Excellent interpersonal communication; strong phone skills and clear and concise writing.
Knowledge and Interest in data analytics, machine learning, Artificial Intelligence and similar solutions.
Ability to travel to client/partner/event sites as needed (10% travel expected).
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
